Running safely is your responsibility
Watch where you are going. RUNVHAL shows a map, territory and other runners, and it is easy to look at a phone instead of the road. You are responsible for your own safety: obey traffic laws, stay on ground you are allowed to be on, and do not run somewhere unsafe because the app suggests there is territory there.
RUNVHAL is not a medical or fitness-assessment tool. Talk to a doctor before starting or changing how you exercise.
Territory in the app is not property in the world
“Turf” is a feature of a game. Claiming ground in RUNVHAL gives you no rights over any real land, does not permit you to enter anywhere you are not allowed, and means nothing outside the app. Do not trespass to complete a loop.
Your account
You must be at least 13. Keep your credentials to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. One account per person.
What you may not do
- Fake a run — by GPS spoofing, by driving or cycling a route, or by any other means.
- Impersonate anyone, or use a name or photo that is offensive, deceptive, or not yours to use.
- Harass, threaten or follow another runner. Live sharing exists so people can play a game together, not so anyone can be tracked.
- Attempt to read other users' data, break the service, or work around its limits.
We may suspend or remove an account that does any of this, and we may refuse or reverse a turf claim we believe was not run honestly.
Content you add
Your name, username, photo and run history remain yours. You give us permission to store and display them inside the app so the app can work. You are responsible for having the right to whatever you upload.
Reporting
Report a profile from the profile screen, or email hello@buildright.studio. We review reports and act on the ones that need it. You can also block any runner, which makes you mutually invisible.
The service may change
RUNVHAL is in active development. Features may change or be removed, and the rules of how territory is claimed and held may be adjusted. We will not silently change what counts as a valid run without saying so in the app.
No warranty
RUNVHAL is provided as it is. GPS is imperfect, phones lose signal, and a run can fail to record for reasons outside anyone's control. We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, or that a claim will always be recognised.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, BuildRight Studio is not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from using RUNVHAL. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending it
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Account & Security. We may close an account that breaks these terms.
